Glitter makeup 2016's biggest summer trend!

Summer is well and truly on a roll, think we've actually managed to have a few days of sunshine a week! Which is fabulous for crap old England! If you follow my Instagram you would have seen a increase in the FESTIVAL VIBE summer looks, the glitter, colour and shine makes everyone I know so happy! Think everyone this summer has truly embraced the unicorn way of life! 

Back in September I was part of Sharon Dowsetts makeup team for London Fashion Week SS16. If you don't know who she is, you really really should! Her work is unreal!! As her assistant I was her first hand chick with helping prep and plan the shows. I got to see a real insight to all the work that goes into all the shows! My favourite show I worked on, and the one which has clearly broken this summers fashion world was ASHISH SS16. Ali Pirzadeh keyed the hair looks and it's totally something we're all wearing now.

When we were there the press were asking how the everyday girl could wear this look, instantly I thought festivals...and here we are in Summer 2016 going glitter cray cray!

AW16 London Fashion Week

Slightly delayed post, but since Fashion Week I have been so busy! It was my birthday last week, and obviously the celebrations last all week plus trying to "Fit in" work! 

OSMAN

This season was manic and colorful as always. The first show we worked on was Osman. The collection way absolutely stunning with his inspiration coming from Lord Fauntleroy and the Buffalo Boys. Sharon Dowsett (Maybelline NY) created a gorgeous eye look, with a neutral face and dulled down lips. The hair lead by Antonio Corral Calero (Morrocan Oil), revealed a slicked back low ponytail with detailing. 

ASHISH

Since being introduced to the wonderful world of fashion, Ashish has always stood out for me. Think this may be due to the incredible colorful glitter and exquisite designs, and general happy magical feeling he creates. The makeup lead by Sharon was gorgeous, there was color coded lips to match the shoes. Hair was big blooming colorful glittery Afros lead by hairstylist Ali Pirzadeh! 

EMILIO DE LA MORENA

This collection was unreal. So beautiful. This was lead by Sharon Dowsett. The look was to enhance the tiered look, enhancing the darker circles but in a subtle and gentle way.
